Alexander got his introduction to hunting and shooting literally from the time he was old enough to follow his dad around through the woods. That came at an early age, and his dad taught him to respect Mother Nature and the wildlife she provided. As luck would have it, his family was heavily involved in the development of hunting and recreation properties throughout the Southeast. Over the years he was able to take a larger role in the habitat development and wildlife management aspect of that business. He is an avid whitetail and turkey hunter, having caught the turkey bug during his teen years. It's safe to say that he is blessed to have his vocation and avocation be the same thing. When he's not deeply involved in the everyday challenges of Sweet Apple Game Calls, you can find him in the turkey woods, high in a tree in search of that monster buck or in the delta somewhere chasing ducks. The combination of these things affords him the opportunity to introduce friends to the great outdoors.
